What We Do

At Acre Minds, everything begins with listening to teachers. Our initiatives are rooted in wellness and nurtured through community, designed to support educators in ways that are both meaningful and practical.

Teacher Wellness Survey

We believe teachers know best what they need. That’s why we created our ongoing wellness survey, giving educators a voice in shaping solutions. The insights we gather directly inform every Acre Minds initiative, ensuring our work stays grounded in real experiences.

Peace of Mind Care Packages

Teachers give so much of themselves every day. Our care packages are a simple, thoughtful way to give back. Each box includes wellness items, personal touches, and notes of encouragement — reminders that educators are seen, valued, and supported.

Marigold Meetups

Inspired by the “Find Your Marigold” idea in education — the belief that surrounding yourself with supportive people helps you thrive — our meetups bring teachers together to recharge, share, and support one another. Whether virtual or in-person, these circles create community and remind educators they are not alone.

New Teacher Mentorship

Starting a teaching career can feel overwhelming — but no one should have to do it alone. Acre Minds is developing a mentorship program that pairs new educators with experienced teachers who provide encouragement, practical advice, and emotional support. Together, we’re helping teachers build confidence and stay rooted in their purpose.

Growing with Teachers

At Acre Minds, we believe professional growth should be practical, relevant, and teacher-driven. That’s why we design professional development based on what educators ask for — not one-size-fits-all training. Early focus areas include:

  • Time management strategies tailored to the classroom

  • Simple wellness practices teachers can actually use during the day

  • Building peer support systems within schools

We also do the legwork of researching tools and resources that can help lighten teachers’ workloads — especially in areas like time management. Our goal is to share curated, evidence-based solutions that save teachers time instead of adding more to their plates.
